Taking a free table off the side to the road, I reused and rebuilt it into a new table for my sisters house.

To dry a large amount of red oak lumber that I milled with my Alaskan chainsaw mill, I build a greenhouse / solar kiln hybrid to speed up the process. It worked incredibly well over the summer and was able to reduce the moisture level in the lumber to below 10 percent.

For one of my design classes at Penn State, my team of 4 was tasked with designing a wind turbine capable of generating 0.5-1 watt of power. More information about this project can be found below in the attached paper.

Since building the forge, I have always wanted to make it hotter. To achieve this, I am working on installing a ribbon burner as it should provide a hotter forge. This is a work in progress and more pictures to come.

I am working on developing a small scale light meter. This project is using python on a Adafruit Feather M4 micro-controller to record a high sampling rate of light intensities. This is a work in progress and photos to come. Rev 2 Rev 1

I designed this 3D printed prosthetic hand for a research project. Working in a team of two, we developed two different designs in order to learn more about how a prosthetic hand works.

To increase functionality in the workshop, I designed and built rolling shop drawers that would tuck away under the table saw wing. This also added a large flat surface to the shop that could be used.

During my senior year engineering class in high school, we were allowed to design and build anything for our final project. I decided to try to build a cardboard airplane. Structurally it was build entirely from cardboard and it did manage to fly… for a few seconds. The wind ribs were all cut using a…

As a team of four, we designed and build a robot for the S.E.A.L (Sea Air Land) Challenge sponsored by the US Navy. I had the role of lead fabricator and this design won our team the Most Innovative Design Award.
